Hi! My name is Meryl and it has been my pleasure to run K9 Clipz since 2014. I am a pet lover and owner, just like you. My goal is your 100% satisfaction and to get a ‘4 paws up’ from your best friend. I hope to see you soon!
Both Katie and Claire, who help look after your pets, are vet nurse trained and have also been a part of my team for over three and a half years - they have looked after a lot of happy pups!
Set on 10 acres and conveniently located just 7km from Palmerston and 10km from Feilding, our facility offers a large grassy paddock for playing and socialising in addition to purpose built facilities.
We strive to cater for all requirements from large individual indoor kennels that open to a large exercise area, family units for 2-4 dogs and our heated deluxe suites for pampered pooches!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would NOT recommend I work as a professional dog handler and my dog came back with kennel cough, which there first response was - oh we don't have that here, even though he had been there for 4 days and my dog does not mix with any other dogs and rarely goes where other dogs have been. Did not contact me back like they said they were going too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: Since posting this, the business has threatened me to take down my review, and in an attempt to force me to do so they posted photos of my dog to their Facebook page without my consent. They failed to mention what my complaints were, and instead used it as an opportunity to publicly slander a client.

Where do I begin. When my partner dropped our puppy off, we were told he could be picked up 4 hours later at mid day. As 12 o clock approached, we were told that our puppy wouldn’t be ready yet. The receptionist was quite rude on the phone when we asked what the delay was, and told us “it’s not her problem our puppy isn’t ready, it’s the groomers problem for poorly managing her time”.
We had very specific instructions not to shave my puppies nose. We like the “rough” look and essentially just wanted a neat and even trim, and some help getting a matt off his chest.
Ended up getting my dog back with absolutely no hair on his belly and his nose was shaved down to the skin. The groom wasn’t even even, and you could clearly tell that there was no attention to symmetry. Furthermore there’s just a random bald patch on his back where the groomer said she “tested the blade” to see how much hair would come off. What a joke.
Owner not helpful and quite rude on the phone when discussing the situation, her reply to our questioning was “is this your first dog” and “have you ever had a groom done in NZ before”. Oh well. After talking to some other people, apparently this place has a reputation of not doing the best job. Highly recommend taking your dog elsewhere.
