★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was probably the best Indian food I have had, their vegetarian platter was so good and great value for money, we went home full and with left overs. Wish they were local to me, will definitely go back if I am ever in Kaikoura again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptionally friendly and attentive service. There is a great choice of food on the menu, including a kids option for under 10's. The food was severed quickly and tasted great, it was also good value. I would definitely go back again.

Great service.A must stop they di takeaways too fir those in a hurry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, great thin crispy garlic naan. When we ordered our curries “hot” they were the perfect level of spicy heat that you would expect. The chicken madras was thick and quite tasty. The lamb roganjosh was a bit too pasty smooth for my taste and the lamb was very tough and should have been cooked longer and slower so that one was a bit of a disappointment. Would return to try something else though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed feelings on this one, the starter platter (pictured) was very nice, and my partner thought her paneer curry was good. However my chicken tikka masala was drowned in cardamom flavour, not a trace of tomato or spice flavour remained which was super disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wouldn't usually rate an Indian restaurant 5 star but this place was awesome, I got a non vegetarian banquette which is an awesome deal, a mixed entree with a delicious samosa, onion bahji and other items. As well as a delicious poppadum. Already filled me up before the main, whilst I thought the entree was bigger than the main, I couldn't eat it all and had to get a takeout container. What I had of the main was delicious. Not too spicy. Impressed with the service and the quality of food. Definitely recommend this place. The samosa, poppadum and mango Lassi were amazing.
