Pinakbet - too salty, it would have been better if kamayan or barrio fiesta bagoong was mixed instead of the pink colour alamang
Bangus ala pobre - too salty and too sour(maybe too much vinegar poured into it)
Ube Flan Cake - we found it a little too sweet for our liking, I suggest reduce the sweetness of the syrup

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely casual dinner at Kalye Manila on Upper Queen St. The service was great, very friendly, the food was delicious. We enjoyed the fried pork and tofu with vinegar sauce, the fried dumplings, and sizzling beef with onion. The adobo pork was super good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's nice to see Filipino food around the CBD and we absolutely loved it. We tried the bulalo and chicken inasal and they were both amazing. As a fellow Filipino myself I can definitely say the food is spot on, everyone should go support these guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my go-to restaurants when I’m feeling homesick and craving for super tasty Filipino food. Ordered three meals from them during level 3 lockdown and they had a promo of only $10 per viand and we were not disappointed! The crispy bicol express was my favourite— super tasty and spicy! Sisig was also yummy; there was a slight gamey taste to it, but all good.
Was also able to dine in here outside lockdown and they had a unique look and feel, like we were riding a jeepney to different local, iconic areas in the Philippines.
Highly recommended! ?
