β β β β β KCS visited my rental twice (the first time my new tenant had accidentally locked herself out) to sweep the wood burner chimney and provide advice about a couple of issues. Not only did they not charge for the first visit, they rang me (in Sydney) to provide clear advice about the other issues. Where they could well have advised me to go ahead now - I would not have known otherwise - they instead recommended a future plan of action, & outlined a timeframe allowiing me to plan & budget. For this excellent service they've won a new client for life. Happy to wholeheartedly recommend.

They cleaned my woodburner very carefully after sweeping and were able to locate a problem and fix the flue joiner - I felt very confident and recommend highly. Also prompt, I phoned the receptionist and she quickly organised it for the same day as they were in the area. Thanks so much!

β β β β β This crowd bought Mr Sweep so you're not getting the same guy you used to in the past. This year, damage was done to my baffle brick (they pushed so hard down the chimney that it cracked in two). The ladies in the office obfuscated and denied. I asked for the photo they took before they left and sure enough, the baffle brick was broken - but still the ladies just insisted no wrong-doing. They did send the guys out to put in place the new baffle brick, that I had to buy myself, and the guys agreed they'd done the damage. They were nice. But don't use this outfit any more as the ladies in the office are unreasonable and difficult if there is a problem. They basically called me a liar despite proof it was them, and there was definitely no apology.
