Not a nice place to deal with. Perhaps they have too many customers, and don't care if they lose some. Too up themselves and 'born n bred'.

Well, let me tell you something: I still wonder how they do business, as I made an appointment through their office ladies. A couple of days later (towards end of April) Andrew Zammit came to my house in Eastbourne to look at my chimney and listen to my needs. Everything went well after he left, saying I will give you a quote in a couple of days. A couple of days, another couple of days, another couple days, weeks...... I decided to call and ask the ladies at the showroom about "the quote"; they promptly action a call back saying:- I am so sorry, Andrew said is working on it and he will give you a call as soon as he gets in this morning. This never happened and I waited two more days and called the showroom and the same lady, gave me the same answer. Almost 8 weeks and I am still waiting for the quote. Of course I did it with Tawa Heating Centre through the owner named Paul and he was fantastic! I did called Fireworx, as I wondered what happened... and guess what! same ladies saying: Ohh ohh ok ohh mmhh let me see, look the lady in charge is coming back at 4pm so she will give you a call, is your mobile 021 bla bla bla; I said yes. I am still waiting for a call. My advice: don't even waste your time with these cowboys, they have no idea what business is and the value of customer's time. The answer for me, was Tawa Heating Centre in Tawa. Cheers, Lucas from Eastbourne.

Last week my husband arranged times for our chimney to be swept and that of our tenants. After changing the time of one of them I asked if she would email through these dates as I couldn’t write them down at the time. This didn’t happen. I’ve just rung them again and the sanctimonious attitude of the woman on the other end was one of disbelief. When I explained to her why I needed this she thanked me for dressing her down, of which I never mentioned her and she hung up. I’m incredulous and if this is how you run a business........!!!

Horrible experience, after having to call Fireworx multiple times to get a quote, nearly 4 weeks after, there's still nothing. They didn't do what they said they would (call back, get someone to check the quote, email the quote). This kind of business shouldn't exist as it's totally unreliable. I finally found another company that offers way better service.

When you've made an appointment to have your wood burner fixed, the whole flue and bricks so your family can be warm, including your pregnant daughter due to have a baby baby, and you don't show up and not even a courtesy call to say its not happening and you don't answer your phone and the customer has to do all the following up! There has to be something wrong! Unsatisfied customer right here!

Had a fireplace installed by Fireworx in 2017. The install job of the fireplace itself was fine (or seems to be). However, they did a bad job installing the hearth, and it needs correcting. The board installed underneath is not flush with the hearth, which looks terrible. I have called and emailed multiple times over the last year. Rochelle (the office lady) is all talk - keeps promising that they will fix up the problem and Andrew will call me, but nothing ever happens. I wholeheartedly would not recommend this company - unless you enjoy being lied to. Unsure how a company with such terrible customer service manages to remain in business.

This is my 3rd year of trying to communicate and get service with fireworx. The first 2 years were for fireplace maintenance, but when we needed a full new installation we decided to trust the online recommendations. Initial communication happened, with asking what we were looking for, and then silence. Looking through other reviews it seems we are not alone

My experience with Fireworx seems to be similar to others who have left reviews. A lot of empty promises and time wasting. I would give zero stars if it was an option. Trying to engage these people to undertake the services they advertise that they provide was a very bizarre experience. It seems like perhaps they don't want/need your business, but they'll tell you they do and not follow through... Perplexed as to what their objective was. I strongly encourage you to engage absolutely anyone else. I gave up on them and had my fireplace installed by Davy Heating. He was great.
