★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant just before kaikora. The restaurant won't go unnoticed as it just stands out. The food is unbelievably fresh and tasty. Crayfish is expensive but its worth it. Apart from the fish and sides, you can also get coffee from the shop. You can relax, have a tasty meal, take a break and enjoy the moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favorite lobster/crayfish location in Kaikoura region by far, the cray is really tender, not over cooked or rubber like at all, as the opposite of many other locations unfortunately. The simple cooking and cold eating methods really enhance the natural taste of freshness and sweetness in the shellfish. Also, their dipping sauce is the cherry on top, but even without it, it will still be the best lobster I had in NZ so far, would like to be back a lot. PS, eftpos payment might encounter connection issues sometimes due to the shop’s remote location.

Very clean, fresh set up.
Exceptional value for money! And the Whitebait patties are to die for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly, it closes at 4pm. We had no idea. However, we were able to hang around for a considerable time because there was benches and toilet facilities. The toilet facilities were clean. The Toilets do not have water system, very similar to DOC toilet facilities. You can use the benches and enjoy the cool breeze. There is lot of parking spot. Despite, the coffee shop was closed, we enjoyed this area

Beautiful place to relax and eat a cray which was nicely made. Did not disappoint ?
There's a beautiful view there's also lots of parking and toilet facilities which were well presented and clean ✅ the staff are great ??
Special thanks to the Cafe for giving us a cray on the house for our trip back to the north island we appreciate it so much such a wonderful surprise for me and my family. You made our day!
