★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just Love the food. The service. Good family and the food is really made with Love. Love the Burger's. Great selection of drinks and ice cream and Lollies. And product galore on the shelfs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. Chips were ok - generous but a bit soggy. Fish is the plain processed kind out of a box (ok but you'll find better fish at most other Takeaway shops here). Hot dogs didn't include sauce which by my experience is standard so I didn't ask for it. Overall I would choose to go hungry over buying lunch here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Working in Dargaville for the day and came across Hokianga Dairy n takeaway.carton of chips and burger ordered..for lunch.. ? wow absolutely delish n scrumptious,.my place to go next time I'm over that way.The lady serving was polite and chatty.I waited in car and to my surprise the young chef brought my meal out to me...deserves five stars?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made the mistake of choosing this place because my local fish and chip shop for some reason was closed. I say mistake because of what I received when I ordered 2 fish and a scoop of chips. First, the 2 fish came in a small paper bag and the chips the same. That fish was obviously frozen fish fillets from the supermarket and we're not very nice. By the time I had driven this home it was luke warm, due to the light paper bags. Not happy.
Fish and chips from my local shop, I will name it, River Road Takeaways, comes wrapped in a decent amount of paper to keep the food hot, and also makes a good table cloth to eat the food off, the fish is prepared and battered on site and bigger pieces, and a decent scoop of chips. Hokianga Dairy $10.48. River Road $9.50. Go figure. Won't go there again.
