★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have tried all the kebab/moroccan places in rangiora now. This place is definitely the worst for me. I order a mixed grill souvlaki and a glass of chocolate dog merlot. Wine that I was given was not chocolate dog which the young server should have told me rather than pour me glass of red and just serve it. By the way it was a Barossa ink shiraz( recognise the bottle) which is far better. Anyway I ordered the mixed grill souvlaki. On menu it says stuffed pita.... open on request. I did not request it. Got an open one anyway. I commented on this and was told it's less messy this way. Mmmmm.... less messy ok. Was unpleasant to eat as it was messy. I like a stuffed pita as I like everything in one bite. Salad was just lettuce and onion. Meat was tender. Pita was cut in to wedges. Meat set on the bread and the salad and sauce. Not my kind of kebab. (Maybe being English I'm biased) . So taaftan or ottoman is the way to go in goon.

The food was very good, the flavours were amazing, staff polite and service was good.
Prices were spot on. You wont walk away hungry that's for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very yummy and great service :) Liked that the souvlaki was open and cut into pieces for us as it made it much easier to eat and less messy. Overall great friendly staff, would definitely recommend.
