Not enough things for the little one small could do with picnic table and replace the dangerous stone feature with a proper jungle gym something for younger kids quiet a bore they should make a big adventure park like in levin they have the space

Good place to take the kids, however pretty limited. The flying fox is the best, swings are popular but the rest could do with an overhaul. Very little for toddlers.

This is a sports park. There's a 1km dual track running around it, one track is tarmac and the other gravel/dirt. Within the bounds of the track is a large level grass field for anything you can play on a grass field, though mainly used by football (soccer) and cricket players. There are some exercise stations around the field and a nicely equipped kids playground in a corner, with a cafe just 20m away. Public toilets and a drinking fountain are located near the main entrance. There's a mountain bike area at the back of the park with a range of tracks from beginner upwards. A dairy is located 100m west along the main road and there are some takeaway shops located 200m east (back towards the city). A safe, friendly area for everyone. Even when it's pitch dark, there are sometimes keen people still walking/running around the circular track, especially on warmer evenings.

Our twins age 7 love this park. Nearby fish and chip shop means we sometimes have a sunday dinner there alfresco. Next door is the karori 1km loop and cafe. Safe for kids to run, cycle or scooter around and learn to cycle. They love the gum.machines as you walk around loop too.

Great play area for over 5year olds. Could do with play equipment for under 5's. Has free book box. Playground has now been upgraded, fantastic

The new more accessible playground is pretty good. My son especially enjoys the Eagle claw swing and the recessed trampoline. Still a bit sparse on shade though, the chosen position of the new shade structure doesn't do much to block the sun after 2pm.

A small play area just next to the main road...highlight is the flying for which is quite small compared to Brooklyn park but good for much younger kids. Playground next to kids play area is huge and good for many activities
