★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic lunch on Boxing Day. While a number of cafes in Waihi were closed, Kava managed to provide a fantastic lunch while they were VERY busy. Particularly good were the corn fritters and Crispy BLT. Good prices too. Well done Kava

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was warned milk shakes here are literally milk constancy. You want a shake like you are used to having in the States, you have to ask for a thick shake and they didn't make them. so it was a bit disappointed drinking flavored milk.. it did taste good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming back from the beach, we were all hungry for a good food. Among the very few places open, we found this nice and cozy restaurant in Waihi. We order the hot salad, nice and well seasoned. The pizza was on special and the meat one was delicious, homemade and looking fantastic. My one was pasta with seafood with sweet chili, what a nice and happy combination, enjoyed until the very last. Great service and kind staff. Will be back soon.
