★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i booked for a whole week. And half way through the week. The manager came to me and asked me to leave because my room was booked for someone else. So i said thats ok i can move to another room. And she said sorry we dont have any rooms free. That is so not professional. She didn't even try to help sort something out to make up for her mistake.
I should have known from the way the motel looked all run down. Here are some photos hope they give you an idea of where you will be staying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place. Heated rooms (heat from natural thermal pool). Very cozy kitchen.
Enjoyed my 1 night stay. 7 minutes walk to community Maurie Kjar Memorial Swimming Pool (free pool at Kawerau).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average but very clean rooms, grounds aren't as nice as pictures but were ok. Pool wasn't open but the free pools in town were great. However owner is very accomodating and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice warm rooms, clean and fresh. The owners are kind, helpful and willing to go the extra mile for their guests. We all woke up after having an amazing sleep. Not sure whether that was a coincidence or what lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took over operations at the motel as new lessees on Monday 17 August. The contractors are installing proper laundry machinery, fibre internet connection, delivering new towels and linen and the landscaper is hard at work to get the gardens to where it was years back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet place beds where super comfortable. There is no cooking area as it is being renovated just a oven microwave in room. Could do with a bbq area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for, kids, adults, family function, awesome BBQ area, for functions (4hire)&friendly,helpful staff,. All areas are are clean&safe, it has just had a make over with new BBQ area, and great water activities for kids. Check it out, and the best thing, is it's free, kids love it&so do parents, they also cater for the elderly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An older style of motel. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. Possibly some milk and a few more knives and forks etc would help. Just a few details to get to 5 stars. All in all a good place to stay.
