The teokbokki tatse like nothing and it's so dry.
CITY KAYA IS WAY MORE BETTER THAN THIS!!! OMG, SO disappointed with their restaurant.

β β β β β Menu items are a bit on the expensive side. For example, $24 for a kimchi pancake just doesn't seem right.
The pig's trotters aren't that great in itself. But if you order the version with the spicy sauce, the sauce makes up for it somewhat.

β β β β β $24 seafood pancake swimming in oil with no seafood that took ages to arrive. Kimchi broth with tuna.. that suspiciously tastes like Sealord tuna can. Only two side dishes. Very slow service and the place wasn't even half full. There are much better Korean places in Rosedale. Disappointing experience.

β β β β β Food is good which is why it deserves any stars at all. However, customer service was absolutely atrocious.
Came in an hour and a half before closing and everyone working there looked at the time, didn't greet us and just handed over the menu without saying anything. With the four of us they only gave us two sides and when I asked for a top up of the side dishes, she only filled up the kimchi when both dishes were completely empty.
One of the most unwelcoming restaurant I've been to, ever.

β β β β β FOH is very kind and food is very delicious. Price is also very reasonable. I highly recommend Kaya combo set menu. It includes 2 bottle of alchohol, still so cheap price with various choices of food. I will definitely come kaya back soon.?

β β β β β One of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. If I could give 0 stars I would.
$17 for this tiny amount of food, it's only about 1/4 filled, the rice portion was incredibly small too.
The taste was pretty bland too. I don't think I'll ever go back there again.
A truly terrible experience.
