★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised how much I got for the price I paid for. I couldn't even finish it all. All I paid was a little over $10. I ordered a fish, a hot dog, a scoop of chips and a potato fritter. And the food was surprisingly very fresh and good! Would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners were pretty patient with me as they'd just opend the doors when I stopped by...and proceeded to order a bunch of everything. The batter was a but thicker than I like, but fresh and had a good flavor. Oddly reminded me a bit of Long John Silvers batter. Fresh, hot and about the cheapest food on the island. If you've never had a stack of fried pineapple rings, go get some now. And pretty sure the 'corn patties' are hush puppies if you're looking for fried comfort food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good fish and chip takeaway from a suburban store. Pleasant couple who worked swiftly. We ordered the blue cod, akaroa cod and breaded haki. Mussels were decently sized. Most of the fish is not heavily salted, so it works well for me. The haki is great. $2 for a tub of tartare sauce. Enjoyed the meal! Chips were well done too! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service but poor product, sadly. The fish batter is too thick and comes out stodgy (second visit, same both times) and the commercial (as opposed to a nice homemade one) spring roll has a doughy wrapper and a lacklustre filling.
I was hoping for a better result second time around, but won't be back for a third try.
