★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park to walk along the upper walkway, or down on the beach and rocks. The "stairs of doom" really aren't so bad- I counted 140- so it's fine to get to the beach and back, but if you do them several times you can get a good workout. There are always people working out there, but the stairs are wide enough to accommodate everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Part of the JF Kennedy Park area the trust has maintained some of the WWII buildings and gun emplacements in the area. A nice place to rest and relax as well as to learn a bit of history. There is also a set of stairs that head down to the beach for a change in environment.
