REDPATH CHUNKY NATURAL MACROCARPA RAISED GARDEN SYSTEM
The Redpath raisedgardens offer the home owner an ideal way to establish a controlled area for growing vegetable, flowers or for the propagation of plants. These can be viewed and purchased on our main web site www.redpath.co.nz
Redpath raised-garden boxes are constructed of natural New Zealand grown golden “Chunky” Macrocarpa. This natural timber offers long service life and looks great but does not have the nasty chemicals that can be in some cured timbers to taint your crops.
The corners are securely and simply held with heavy duty non-corrosive aluminium brackets which are pre-drilled for assembly convenience. Galvanised screws are included.
Redpath offer the raised gardens in five different sizes, 1m x 1m, 1m x 2m, 1m x 3m, 2m x 2m* and 2m x 3m with each of these sizes able to be purchased in four different depths. 150mm (one board), 300mm (2 boards), 450mm (3 boards) and 600mm (four boards deep)
The Raised garden may be purchased as a base “box only” or the Redpath Kerilea cloche frame system may be installed onto the as an option. The Kerilea cloche system offers the crop protection from the weather and pests and may be covered in clear seasonal plastic or Insulnet frost protection fabric. (see cost options below) Other fabrics such as shadecloth or insect and butterfly screening may also be used.
