First time coming here. Enjoyed my company with all the ladies. Sonia was my main hairdresser. I got my keratin done only took half an hour to apply product. However definitely hurt my eyes for the 45min wait. This is not the first time I've got keratin done but this one was very painful (eyes wise) apart from that very professional, clean, lovely customer service. Thankyou for having me ladies.

Save yourself and avoid this place. Worst customer service I've experienced and I've been to many salons but this one wish I could review it 0 stars. Unprofessional staff, didn't give me near to what I wanted for my hair color. Made me come back again to fix it and ended up waiting hours and walking out half treatment done. Will be worth going elsewhere who value there customers then spending your hard earned cash.

Very expensive i been there with my daughter who wants just straight cut and the lady did the job took 10 minutes to do it and charged $25.00. Sorry never go back again.

My hair is no where near to what i asked it to be and i overall do not recommend this salon at all. It is very unprofessional, and i totally recommend going else where for your hair if you don't want it ruined. I asked for a full head of foils and showed a picture of what type of color i was going for and wanted. We both agreed on $200 and the stylist insured me the results will be achieved. The hair stylist was in a hurry to do my hair as she had another client waiting and forgot to put foils on 1/4 of the left side of my hair. After she realized she put the foils on but didn't leave then as long as the previous ones. This resulted in my hair being bleached different tones. She then applied toner to my hair and after she washed it off i saw that there was a lot if orange, brown and other tones in my hair which was not what i wanted. Parts of it was the silvery and ash tone i wanted it but majority of it had the different tones it in. While toning she completely missed chunks from my roots i had bright orange roots in parts of my hair. She said that she will fix it with another set of foils paid and it was my first time in ages that why it came out like that. I refused to pay for another set of foils and I went in the next day to get my hair fixed to what i wanted it to be which was ash blonde / silvery highlights but the second session it was the same. The stylist just blended it out the left hand side of my hair to look more even but ending up adding a brown to the roots of the top of my head. The left side of my hair was still way different to the right hand side and you could clearly tell that there was multiple colors. My hair now has four tones, yellow, brown, orange and ash blonde. I still can see that the roots of my hair from the bottom are still orange which they said they had fixed. My hair looks ugly, its all different tones, i cant even style it because of all the different colors.

Ya I am not coming here again and I would recommend everyone to do the same. Horrible customer service. I took an appointment but when I walked in the store the lady had no idea about it and then asked me to wait. That is fine, I waited 30 minutes and she didn’t even acknowledge me at all while I was waiting. She was busy chitchatting and doing god knows what. I left after waiting 30 minutes after feeling completely ignored. I have been going to Kess Hamilton for 7 years and never had any issues and staff there is so warm and welcoming but Kess Manukau and Manurewa are hell. Seriously you just don’t feel good when you walk in. They are not professionals.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! For the first time ever i came here to get my hair done by i thought "PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE" but i thought wrong ? i came here to get all blonde with like white stripes in the front i showed the ladie a picture of EXACTLY which hair colour i was going for and it honestly did not turn out how i wanted it to turn out!! It cost about $300? cost more than the product itself honestly a very high price just for what i wanted and they couldn't even do what i asked for ?‍♀️ also when it was time to rinse out my hair ,the lady was honestly wetting my jersey and the water was going down my back so i told her and all she did was give me a towel she didn't stop so i could dry the water that was going down my back she literally just kept going so when she was finish my jersey was wet basically my whole back was wet so i definitely felt very uncomfortable so glad i was wearing a black jumper not a white t-shirt cause literally that'll be embarrassing!!!!!? Anyways so i made my payment and as i was leaving the same lady that did my hair and this other lady and their manager told me if i buy their shampoo and conditioner that'll make my hair feel way better and make it lighter but because of how expensive it was just for doing my hair i said "No thanks its okay" they then tried telling me "this product is for your hair you need it" i said "no" again and thats when the manager said "you can't get this product from anywhere else cause this one does the job" and he also said i can take the price down $10 off so i knew if i said no again he would of still tried to make me buy his sh*#%y product and because i wanted to just hurry and go home cause firstly i don't like how my hair is ,secondly my backs wet and i feel uncomfortable so i just brought it and left Like honestly this is THE WORST HAIR SALON IN MANUREWA!!!!! & i'll never be coming back here ever again esp with the way the ladies their were looking at me soon as i entered their salon?

Had my eyebrow threading and waxing here for the first time, 5$ alright! Impressed with cleanliness and professionalism, i didn't managed to get the lady's name but she made her magic as not too much pain i had,( i was maybe expecting more). Haha! Will definitely recommend for all those who needed a glam, well, i haven't tried their make up or other services so i need to come back next time for it. Just still so many places i needed to try! But overall, this is one of the cleanest and warm salon i've seen and have been at southmall! Keep up the great service!

I have found my new hairdresser. I am so impressed with her service. She clarified a misunderstanding I had been told. She accommodated my request and even went the extra mile to ensure I left satisfied. If you are looking for an reliable hairdresser, Kaluna is definitely one I recommend. Thank you Kaluna.
