★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most b.s kfc in all of NZ. Literally given this store a dozen chances out of desperation because there is no where else to eat in the evening here in Te Awamutu besides McDonald's and BK.
Poor service every single time. Wait times of 30mins and more are NORMAL here. They shut the restaurant for drive thru only and still 40min wait. Get to the counter and the number of times they have no wicked wings, no burgers, no this or that. You can blame covid for "delivery problems" but this has been happening even last year. I'm almost certain you just turn the fryers off earlier than you should to get out early and use rubbish excuses to cover up. When we would come at 9pm guaranteed no wicked wings even tho they close at 10pm. So we always come early now, well before 8pm and still never any wicked wings.
Manager refuses to give her name for follow up and says to sort it out with management because she only has 4 staff so here we are!
I have driven to Hamilton a few times now to get meals Te Awamutu didn't have without a hitch, no dramas at all. They always have ample stock and service is pleasant.
Customer service in TA is monotone, unfriendly and pretty much like yea, yea see ya later. They never care to hear the customers side. Blonde girl in particular is almost always rude.
I could go on and on about how poor this place is. Done with it well and truly. Ugh DO NOT GO HERE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Each time I have taken a patron though drive thru KFC have run out of some food items . No one comes out to let you know that they have run out certain things. KFC certainly needs to look seriously at the way customers are treated here in Te-Awamutu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hopefully the owners read this. Not sure what is happening tonight. Not allowed to go inside, need to order through drive through. Staff standing around joking inside, no service. Drive through line at stand still after 30 minutes. Why even open. I would be mortified if this was my business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This branch has gone to the pack. Used to be very consistent and fast service. Arrived there last night at the drive thru with a friend at 9:30pm on a Tuesday night. The staff member said “Hello can I take your order?” I replied “Two seperate orders thanks” She said “Just letting you know we only have chicken pieces and soft drink available”. My friend turned to me and said “McDonalds” I said to her “Nevermind then”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bloody disgusting, I went through the drive through, get home and half my order isn't there. So I need to drive back another 25 minutes, while trying to call them all the way there. Just before I reach someone answers the call. Get inside and the girl trues to argue with me that she did put the chicken in. Lady why would I drive 25 minutes for chicken I had. So they give free fries, which don't taste the best either, so old. Get home to eventually eat my zinger and the bun is as old as boots, cant bit into it and don't mind the zinger patty either, just as disgusting. Kfc...you really need to pull your socks up for all the money we pay to eat this food. Hot n spicy you definitely rock that cos it's delicious

ordered my meal online ( delux 1/4 pack large 2x regular popcorn )to be delivered, when order was place was given time of delivery, half hour after delivery time rang them 8 times before anyone answered phone to see where my order was it was still sitting in store, was given extra chips and upsize of coleslaw and saying sorry.
got order 5 min later chips were stone cold no seasoning on any chips, no chocolate bar gave a chocolate mousse instead, chicken was cold only thing hot was the potato n gravy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not clean. Tables full of crumbs. Chicken tastes blend. Bought wicked wings thout it would be good but they gave me normal ones. Chicken not cooked well. fries dry as. They are only using KFC’s name I guess. Money waster! spent $40 for two of us but very unsatisfactory. Not recommended!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST SERVICE, from waiting 4 cars in front of ME in the drive through, till food was ready was 30 exact MINUTES! 5 snack burgers were ordered, we were told to wait in the carpark. After 10minutes I walked in and my order was just waiting on the bench top!! ANGRY CUSTOMERS!! Happens EVERY time!! You need better service T.A KFC.....
