★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the misfortune of stopping there tonight and honestly the one star I've given is one too many. Although the drive through and restaurant had many customers the staff were just fooling around and showing little interest in service. Customers have to wear face masks but this rule is ignored by staff. Two wearing masks incorrectly and three not at all. Terrible service, waited 25 minutes and to add to the woes the food was almost cold. Could not recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid for my order online and when I went to pick it up they didn’t give it. I told them I paid for it and even showed them but they still didn’t give me my order. I will suggest all my friends not to go to Papamoa Beach KFC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time in a long time getting KFC due to being time poor on the way home from a long road trip. I asked for lemonade and got plain soda water, I asked twice for a large popcorn chicken and still only recieved a small popcorn chicken but was still charged for a large one.
We were too tired to return and try to debate the issue so just left it. Chicken was not great either, it seemed dry and old, perhaps reheated. Also, no chicken salt on dried out fries. Currently experiencing major digestive pains after eating. Staff member taking order was polite though so I gave a star for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chips were rubbish and the chicken drum was so tiny oily and dry reheated from the night before. I'm still waiting for a call from the store manager re my complaint. I won't be going back here again. The chips were short crispy and the portion was only three quarters full, bad service to top it off
