I'm a chef of 26 years , went to Nando's at 9:30pm to order dinner (I had worked from 7:30am til 7:30pm ) First I was dismayed to see that the human element had been taken away and we were told we had to download an app in order to order a meal ,or have a QR code scanner. When I swore at the situation and not the manager she became very defensive and rude. There were no other customers in the store and a perfectly good till there that could take our order. My friend has eaten all around the world as an MP and was disgusted with her behaviour. Instead of doing the hospitality side of her job ,she blamed head office in Australia for the ordering system. Instead of finding a solution, as I don't have those apps on my phone ,she then proceeded to get a "young man to come help us ", we waited figuring she meant with our online order. Only for her to say after about 5 minutes of rudeness and telling me not to swear(which I hadn't towards any staff) that he was able to take our order from the till????? she lost over $50 of revenue and 2 customers that will never return,because of her being a very rude and inexperienced manager. We walked out and the sad part is that I could see her staff laughing at us telling her off and they looked uncomfortable with her. Never ever will I eat there again and I hope you find a new manager as I would of fired her on the spot.

The food was very good, as always at nandos. But we were waiting for 40 minutes for our meal and watched atleast 6 larger tables who were seated after us be brought their food first. When we asked staff how long it would be to expect our meals (30min after ordering) we were told there was a wait for meals. Which is fine, but didn’t make sense as many tables after us were served first

We went to order, after my daughter had ordered at the counter and was told to go to table and do it through the app. We are nearly 60, we've never ordered anything by an app. Also, my daughter had just ordered. Also, another daughter whose husband is vegan and they were having some difficulty with choices were not allowed to order at counter. She eventually reluctantly took our order because I refused to move. Also table was filthy and repeated requests for a cloth were refused. Just the usual excuses it's Easter Monday we're short staffed. Well it's not as if it was a surprise. Shameful customer service - well none actually!

Arrived at restaurant and was told to order online scanning bar code. I don’t think I’m old fashion. Not very good customer service. We ordered for four adults. Chips were great. Salad was a very small bowl. Some of our chicken under cooked. Gave us more chips and salad. Within minutes of leaving ending up in rest room with stomach ache. Will not be going back for seconds.

It was terrible. 1. They didn't accept cash which is legal tender in NZ 2. Online order at table required a sign in, not worth the hassle 3. No forks, definitely needed for this sort of dish 3. Door to dishpit left open next to table spoiling ambience 4. Forgot to serve drink that I ordered 5. Around 70% of tables needed clearing when we were looking for a table. Food was great.

It was my first time at a nandos restaurant back in August. The service was excellent and the food came out on time and tasted delicious

It's been a long time since my last nandos meal but this one was amazing! I am drooling while typing this! Juicy chicken, and well done wit peri peri, perfect fries ? as well yumm! Will definitely come back for more!!
