About Kilbirnie Osteopaths
Alana completed her osteopathic training at RMIT University in Melbourne, graduating from the five-year double degree programme in applied (clinical) and osteopathic science in 2004. She arrived in Wellington shortly thereafter, working in central Wellington before joining Kilbirnie Osteopaths in 2010.
Alana loves the variety that being an osteopath brings – and is experienced in working with all ages from newborn babies to the elderly, and treating all areas of the body.
Alana utilises a range of techniques, from gentle manipulation through to biodynamic and cranial osteopathy. She tailors her approach to suit individual clients and their needs, with a focus on working with – not against – the body.
Alongside her clinical practice, from 2013 Alana spent five years on the executive board of Osteopaths New Zealand. She has also been involved in organising several national and international conferences. She has been the sole director of Kilbirnie Osteopaths since October 2021. Alana combines her work with family life, spending time with her husband and two daughters, enjoying Wellington's eastern suburbs.

There is good parking on site which makes getting there easy - and I travel from Lowet Hutt to go there!
