★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a pretty cool stretch of road that winds around the edge of the mountain and Kilkenny Lookout is the place to see it. The river was very high and racing by today as the storms over the last week had filled the feeders. The info panel is quite good. There's no facilities at all. It's basically a photo spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful view. Took quite a few photographs. Have to watch out for the cars and trucks while looking at the views. The river makes a bend here and gives great views both up and down stream. Love the sparkling water and movement. An excellent stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice little stop off, however very much over hyped all on the side of the road there is a count down I'm KMs till the lookout but it's not that spectacular, it's just a big river going arround a corner.
Another thing is that there has been a few people using the grass arround the park as a toilet so I would advise not stepping off the sealed area ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's worth a little stop here. Right next to State Hwy 6, the Buller River changes direction by almost 180 degrees and flows tame in beautiful wooded surroundings.
