Well worth staying at least one night. We stayed three and saw kiwi, tuatara, morepork and blue penguins at night and saw all birds by day including the elusive Kokako. Also a huge female wetaponga in the bunk house courtyard
Great walking tracks. A real treat that certainly doesn't break the bank
