β β β β β Always a good place to stop for vegetables. And in season have a great range of strawberries including cheap seconds. Great for jam making.
Only problem is crossing over if you are travelling south. Needs a bit of judgement and timing to get a gap in the traffic going north. But not a major issue, just take care.

Easy parking as we pulled off SH1 heading North from Wellington, then easy to re-emerge into the traffic to carry on home.
Great fresh grocery shopping experience.
