Great facilities - not only do they have BBQ's and fresh water, the toilets are the nicest cleanest long drops I've ever encountered!
This place is a step above with a wee library, and a outdoor bathtub that can be used.
$5 per person per night can't be beat for the value, and they have eftpos on site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a favourite camping spot for us. At only $6 per adult, you can't go wrong. Ample shade in the summer. The long drop toilets are well maintained and are clean. We were there over Waitangi Weekend. We had to arrive early to get a spot as it fills up quickly.
Lots of people had dogs this time and the barking got a bit irritating. Owners had gone out for the day leaving their dogs tied up.
I love to kayak around Jackets Island at high tide. It's beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our favourite places to camp, and we've been to a lot of campgrounds! Nice views of the sea, with lots of birds around in the trees. The wood fired bath is delightful! On site toilet facilities (long drop type) and fresh water. No powered sites but it's cheap to stay ($7per person). Jenny who manages the camp is really nice. Will look forward to returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to be back at Kina! True beachfront camping at only $8pp per night. Fresh water onsite. Free stuff table. 4 clean toilets. Dog friendly. Heated outside bathtub on beach. Lovely camp host, and lots of friendly campers (tents, cars, vans, campervans, buses & caravans... all welcome!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just stunning! Perfect camping along the beach, does get quite windy though.
Clean drop down down toilets, several (drinking) water points. Just no shower or rubbish station.
