★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean. It's quite old style but well presented. The office person was very business like. There was no warmth or made to feel welcome. We have stayed here before with the previous owners. They were so nice and welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very run down now and dated. Stains on the bedding, dirty stained couch, ominous looking stains on the carpet, dirty cupboards uncomfortable pillows. However the white sheets were pristine and there was a modern heat pump installed. A little update, despite all of the above, I had a great nights sleep and there was no noise.

Nothing to complain about really, easy to check in and out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner left the room unlocked for us as we were arriving late. But then not once did we see any admin staff or the caretakers over our weekend stay. The room was wiped down once, but didn't feel or smell clean at all. Room was very, very dated and did not match the standard of the pictures shown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This would be the last place it'd think about before booking a motel in Whangarei. You have to wash your own dishes. Staff can't speak English properly through email or in person. You have to check yourself in cause they too lazy to stay up. Trash management

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I walked in the door the stench of the room was so disgusting the carpet needed a good clean as it had alot of dirty marks which was very visible, chairs hadn't been wiped down could see piled up dirt, table was sticky, really needs a upgrade. But what was good is the outside as it looks very clean and has a stove. I will not return back there.
