★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here on Waitangi Day (we were very happy to find it open, despite the holiday) and they were very busy, but dealing with the rush well. I got the bacon eggs benedict and an iced Americano - both were great. My partner got the big breakfast, which was huge and delicious. We'll definitely be back ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in this morning and I think they were just opening as the woman said she would just put the sign out. I ordered a mocha and a jellytip slice. The mocha was lovely and hot but the jellytip slice!! WOW. Sooo delicious! I think the best thing was the warm welcome, friendly chats I had with the woman who served me (didn't get your name sorry!) and the other woman with the glasses. Awesome service which stuck with me enough to write this review. Hope you ladies see this. You're both wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been meaning to do a review for Kitchen 109 for quite some time now. This café is my go to when I'm in New Brighton, which is almost daily as I work in New Brighton...I'd be shocked and appalled at myself for this detail, if the food wasn't so AMAZING!
I tend to eat a high fat/protein diet and low carb (essentially keto) and the ladies in this café never disappoint me with their yummy keto options.
What makes it even better is that the service is incredible!
If you want to go somewhere relaxed, friendly, and with tasty, scrumptious food...…Kitchen 109 is the place to go :)

We travelled from Oxford out north Canterbury for a few nights away from the kiddos and had eggs bene the first day away and it was absolutely amazing so we went back a second time and had the big breakfast and as expected it was also amazing. Highly recommended this wee cafe. Lovely atmosphere super friendly staff.
