★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are pretty much one of the last orders for that day. Chicken isn’t freshly cooked anymore but it is very understandable. Their chicken nibbles are very tasty with a hint of Asian flavour — I actually love it. Pork roast, on the other hand, is so so. There are more veggies than the pork and next time we will try it without the apple sauce. I will give this place another try.

It’s normally our local roast place and I remember so many times always being so happy with the service and food.
It’s frustrating to ask for something so small and get denied twice. I purchased a roast lamb meal and wanted some crackling!! I was told $2 at first but then they changed there mind for some reason and said no they can’t sorry. Then we also purchased pork chops for the first time which was quite dry and not very nice and I asked again since I’m buying pork am I able to get some crackling!
All I wanted was some cracklings after a long day at work haha. It was quite sad to be denied twice and also spending at the same time. Won’t be coming back there unfortunately and it was always the best roast. A little bit of generosity never hurt anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners/staff are so lovely end accommodating. I order something that isn't even on the menu and they're happy to put it together (veggie burger for anyone wondering). I also love that they do cheesy weezy, it's kind of hard to find in east Auckland!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $15 for the roast meal with gravy and chips expecting a lot of roast as seen in the photo on the counter.
When I took the meal out of the bag I was really disappointed. There were 2 thin slices of roast and a mountain of chips in the box. Anyways I start to eat the meal. As I eat the pork its just dry and tasteless. The chips are also drenched in this really salty gravy which is the only thing that is seasoned. Pricing and value of this meal is the worst thing I've seen at a roast shop. WHY are $2 worth of chips and 2 thin slices of roast FIFTEEN DOLLARS? Bad first experience. Hoping that the other meals on the menu are better. DONT MAKE THIS MISTAKE AND BUY THIS "ROAST" MEAL!
