β β β β β Beautiful peaceful spot to stay just outside of town. The gatekeepers house is stunning and in great condition. Lovely walk or drive into town. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

β β β β β Beautiful place to relax and enjoy time together in a peaceful, rural setting. We loved the open fire and luxurious linens. The sounds of the creek and the native birds add a little something special to this experience.

β β β β β Beautiful and serene. Love the birdsong. Great walk up the shingle track behind the house to the v small vineyard complete with a mini-turret lookout. Awesome views from the paddocks out over Akaroa Harbour where my ancestor Louis dinar sailed in over 150 years ago.

β β β β β Lovely friendly hosts- especially Eiffel the dog. Such a beautiful location, very quiet in the native bush, other than the sounds of the birds and cicadas. Clearly the cottage is a labour of love with lots of nice touches. Enjoy showering on the deck outside or enjoy a leisurely bath.
