Kia ora and thanks for visiting us online. Korokoro School is a dynamic, positive and caring learning environment located above Petone in beautiful surroundings and overlooking Wellington Harbour. It's the heart of a great community with staff, students and parents working closely with each other to support our School's vision. Our website is intended to give visitors a general overview but also a glimpse into the special character of Korokoro School. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have young girl students, you are very lucky Chris Bishop couldn't attend. He has a history of inappropriate relationships with young girls and to the best of my knowledge, hasn't got help. Chris - get some help mate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What better place to come back and review after surviving an education in this school. The year was 1983, Head was Mr Nicholson followed by Mr Obrien, the only other teacher I remember was Mrs Gee. All the teachers did an amazing job and if school back then in the early 80's was awesome, it surely can only be just as sensational today. Being a local school, it was definitely the place to send your children. One day I will return, it has been a long time. Almost 40 years.
