The masseur knew exactly how to get into and release the tension in all of the right spots.
I am often dealing with pain in my hips. The masseur asked me which areas I felt pain and then proceeded to work on those areas hard.
You can choose which strength you would like. Often I am disappointed by the lack of strength when I go for a massage. I definitely wasn't disappointed here. The masseur took me to the edge with her strength and I left feeling relief and contentment.
The stretches she did with my body added a new level to the massage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in with an injury/ torn muscle. Anita is incredible/ has amazing knowledge of anatomy and quickly identified the issue.
I would go as far as saying this was the best treatment I have ever had and was honestly shocked how much improvement I felt.
I train hard and have had many sports massages in my time but this hands down is the best so far.
I have recommended to a bunch of people already and I’m looking forward to booking another session next week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The whole experience right from the point of entry was welcoming, relaxing and warm. They have managed to create a lovely environment despite being a potentially busy street corner, located in downtown Mount Maunganui. Communication was thorough, and the booking process was well explained over the phone by Mike. They even managed to squeeze our 10 yr old in for an aromatherapy massage at the same sitting as mine, which she loved.
The massage itself was respectful and expert. Appropriate explanations were provided throughout of the ailments encountered and goals of treatment as they occurred. The Tok Sen (hammer percussion) component of the massage was something I had not encountered elsewhere before, but found most therapeutic and helpful. The focus throughout the experience was both physical and spiritual.
I would recommend Krisada massage highly. They have a genuine love for what they do, and do it very well in my eyes. We will certainly be back, when we return to the Mount.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bliss! Booked a couples massage for my mum and I. Therapists really personalized our massages to what we needed individually and great at checking in. One of the few places that are open on the weekends which I found surprisingly rare in Tauranga/Mount. On time, clean space and relaxing aura despite being on a busy corner of the mount. Will definitely like to book again when I'm next in town.
