Always cool to see natural hot pools so close to town. The walking tracks are well maintained and suitable for wheelchairs/push chairs. Removed a star due to the amount of rubbish

Really good experience Just to understand what is geothermal activity. Its for free to be visited as it is a public park. Have a small section made to soak up your feet and even your self but need to keep you head above the water. Have a walk around, may be a coffee and a snack on a relaxing sunny morning.

A very lovely, huge park to visit. It took us about one hour and a half to walk around the park and enjoy the beautiful scenery with those natural thermal water lakes. Might be boring for the kids to walk around though, but they do have an interesting playground just by the carpark area. To sum up, if you are someone who love to enjoy the calmness of nature so much and want to find some quiet, beautiful place to rest your mind for a while and find peace within yourself, Kuirau Park is definitely worth it !

Absolutely beautiful gardens nestled right by the city center of Rotorua. There was ample, free and easily accessible parking all around the park. The park is immaculately maintained and is a pleasure to walk through. A nice little children's playground is also on site, as are some sports facilities. It was awesome seeing the various mud pools scattered around the park, and the foot bath/soak in the naturally-warmed water facility is great. Very family friendly place; highly recommend to anyone in or passing through Rotorua!

Great place to bring the family for a day out. Plenty of picnic tables, natural beauty and a bbq if need. Enjoy a stroll through the park and admire the geothermal mud pools with plenty of hot spots to check out. Comfortable setting to wonder and explore, with a playground and basketball court to keep the kids busy. Highly recommend?

Always a great walk through here. So much thermal activity, lovely gardens and walks. The new footpaths are great and it's all free. Saturday morning market is always fun
