★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful. There are black swans, a playground and a small amusement facility. Lots of people and lots of parking space. A must go after a meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful boardwalk. There were floating planes at the jetty and something I haven't seen in a long while, black swans. There is a massive kids park/jungle gym along the walk and is well visited by droves of happy children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lack of parking in this area. Lots of surveillance cameras around to combat the high rates of car theft in Rotorua. Toilets near playground. Wheelchair accessible. A couple of food carts selling food.
