β β β β β After being taken to the emergency ward on Saturday 16 Feb 2019, for a head injury and other bruises I am seriously worried that the patient care was not good. I was not examined, sent home with blood over face and neck. My wounds were still oozing and bleeding with no care taken by the staff. I also had a concussion but no vitals were checked and I visited the medical centre in town the following day where they did a thorough examination and gave me a tetanus shot. They also asked me to return in two weeks time. The patient/customer experience was not great and i am really worried for another patient where it could be more serious. :-(

My husband was seen very quickly & treatment started right away!
What a difference from U.K.
James (doctor) & Annie (nurse) were amazing!

β β β β β A huge thanks to all the wonderful staff who cared for me when I was sick last week. Outstanding service, tests arranged and carried out efficiently. I was on a visit from Wellington and came home with great stories about my unexpected side trip. Many thanks again. Cheers!

β β β β β I was waiting too long. But not my main issue. I was told to wait on the bed and another nurse came in and didn't really ask me nicely, more like demanded I sit over there and she then said "someone needs it more than you!" I thought wow that makes me feel unwelcomed. I'm happy to sit on the floor if someone needs a seat but no need to speak to patients like that. I decided to leave. I felt staff were having a laugh at me

β β β β β Absolute worst hospital ever, went in ED for severe pain, nurses are rude and make you feel like a hassle. Never actually got seen i had to leave and go elsewhere

β β β β β Had an accident cutting deep through the knee. New patients came in whilst Iβd waited a long time. They didnβt provide any waterproof protection so I returned the next day as the dressing was so poor first time round. The 1 star in this review is for the one lady that treats you like a human, redressed the wound perfectly and provided a spare waterproof dressing.
The other nurse (sat at a computer in the consulting room meant to be minding her own business) turns to me and says βthis is an A&E, if itβs not life threatening donβt waste nurses timeβ. Disgraceful thereβs still professionals like this in the public health field. Iβd rather stay ill than visit this centre if this person is still working there.

β β β β β My first ever visit here was not pleasant, so I expected my second to go just as badly - but it was the complete opposite! Waiting times were a little long but all the nurses and doctors during my stay were so sweet, friendly, and caring (Dr Wendy and nurse Naomi especially). Thank you so much!
