I invited my friend to the place and we meet a baby cockroach on the bottom plate of a dish.
Embarrassing and Unbelievable, I know.
And the worse thing is the waiter took away the plate and left said nothing.
Will never return to the place that serves food from my home town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought takeaway. Be frankly, a bit (over) sweet. However Shanghainese Crusine is a bit sweet. So, thumb up. The "smoke"/soya fish was superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first time I give a bad comment on Google map. Went there with my family on Saturday night. The waiter keeps on recommending expensive live fish, which is not on the menu. The dishes are really slow, we had only one dish in the first 30 minutes, and the environment is very noisy. We ordered three Shanghainese cuisines, which were not that cheap but my wife who is from Shanghai said they are not authentic at all. Finally, when we paid the bill, we were charged additional 3% because of the paywave without any notice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good Shanghai cuisine. The serving size of the dishes were actually very decent, so make sure you don't order too much. The crab soup dumplings are very juicy and delicious~ The lamb hotpot was my favourite though~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first time trying northern Chinese cruising, which tasted quite sweet than usual but it was still nice in its own way. Out of all the dishes I tried I quite like the big sweet and spicy pot of all sorts. The pork thigh was huge, luckily for me it wasn't the sweetest one. So I managed to enjoy it the most.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say this is the BEST Shanghai cuisine restaurant in AKL!!!
The owner and the chef are from Shanghai so the food is the real authentic Shanghai style. Food was so yummy and price was very reasonable. Xiaolongbao is a must-try dish, which tastes just like heaven, so juicy!!
We ordered cold dishes as starters: the marinated bran dough with peanut( OMG so good), free-range chicken with dipping sauce (the sauce was amazing) and smoked fish (crispy outside and tinder inside).
Hot dishes: tofu with fried fish, sweet and sour pork ribs, xiaolongbao, and Shanghai traditional soup which turned out everything’s so delicious!!!
Highly recommend and would definitely come again!!
