Linda Weterman – Operations Manager (North)/ Academic and Compliance Manager
Linda leads our teams of tutors and field staff from Hawera – Ohakune – Waiouru – Rotorua – Opotiki across to as far north as Kaitaia. Teams across this region deliver programmes in Agriculture, Apiculture, Building, Civil Infrastructure, Intensive Literacy and Numeracy, Horticulture, and Pest Control and Monitoring.
Linda has extensive experience in the tertiary education sector and has spent the last 30 years working in and supporting lifelong learning and strengths-based leadership. Some of Linda’s roles over that period include Auditing, Tutoring and Facilitation (Management, Internal Auditing, Accounting and Project Management, Governance), Learning Systems Management, Educational Leadership, CE of YMCA for the Greater Wellington region and CE Distance Division at Aspire2.
She lives with her husband (Frank) in NgΔmotu, New Plymouth and they enjoy cycling along the coastal track and fishing when they can. She is also a volunteer for Business Mentors in Taranaki and is a Hospice Taranaki Biographer.
