★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We picked a beautiful sunny day with no wind to do walk .well worth it. We took it easy and completed track in 2hrs 15mins. You can do it a lot faster if you want to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this track - short but steep walk through stunning ferns and beech. It is a walking track only but despite the signs you do get the odd cyclist so stay alert. Connects to Rata ridge track where you can loop back into Wainuiomata or walk to Mt Lowry look out, to the top of Wainuiomata road or carry on through to Eastbourne.
