★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service. There always seems to be quite a long wait for prescriptions to be filled. My partner got hit with a very large surcharge for getting his prescription filled on a Sunday but was given a refund when he queried the extra charges. Not sure if they are still charging this but hopefully they have put up a sign to give customers a fair warning. Friendly staff and well stocked products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming to this pharmacy for many years and I have always enjoyed good friendly service. But recently while waiting for a prescription, another customer came in wanting a flu jab. I thought to myself, I will get mine too since my GP's practice won't give me one as I am not a Maori or Pasifika. I had to wait till whenever it was until I could get one with my doctor. I have never encountered this racial separatism before. I politely mentioned this to the staff and I was intensely set upon in defence of why Maori and Pasifika people should get theirs first!
We are all people of New Zealand and it is just not right to seperate us on skin color and treat us separately because of race! It was very sad and unfortunate to be alienated and shunned by the owner and the staff of this pharmacy just for having an opinion and saying it wasn't right.
Secondly, the customer who got the flu jab paid $30.00 and I was charged $40.00. I asked why I am paying more , and the reason I was told was because the other customer worked at the pharmacy. This is absolutely untrue because I know the other customer and he is a self employed Tradesman and has NOTHING to do with working in this or any other pharmacy!!
So this pharmacy is racist and untruthful and I will NEVER step one foot in this place ever again!!!
