★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming in for Vitamin D for my 7days old baby . I was Coming at 12 , and get told going to be 30 minutes. Ii Come back at 12.30 , she told me 5 more minutes. Waiting till 1PM . I have to ark them about my Vitamin D and someone just go get it for me . It take them 1 hours just to walk over and get me a BOX if Vitamin D . . I don't know what to say . I will NOT GOING THERE EVER AGAIN .

We were met by Lorraine who took the time to listen to our concerns and found the perfect products we were looking forward. My daughter was so impressed she got Lorraine to help her as well. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to register my satisfaction with the manner in which the staff at Life Pharmacy dealt with my concern that my 98 year old mother had not yet received her first dose of the Covid vaccination. As she is largely immobile, I had been trying to find out whether or how she could be vaccinated at home. I saw that Life Pharmacy had a walk in vaccination facility so mentioned my mother's situation to a member of staff who gave me the number of the one of the team dealing with vaccinatiions. I called and an appointment was made for the next day, today. The 2 people who came were courteous and carried out the task of vaccinating professionally and kindly.
I am impressed by how helpful the staff at Life Pharmacy are, always willing to find solutions. Their service providing vaccination whether in the shop or in homes is a great community service. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking to get your booster, don't book in here. They made me wait 10 mins (there was no-one else in line), then got me to go back outside to wait. Thirty seconds later someone came out to get me. Why did I have to wait? There was a staff member standing right there who was supposed to do the bookings, looking straight at me and choosing to ignore me. Not happy ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service ever from Sharlene at the Paraparaumu Coastlands Life Pharmacy. I felt racially targeted as there was a Caucasian Female Infront of me and Sharlene never asked her any questions nor did she ask her to sanitise her hands however when it was my turn (Polynesian female) not only did she ask me 21 questions she asked me to sanitise my hands as if I was carrying COVID. I was already booked in for a booster shot but because of that horrible experience she made me feel like I didn't deserve to be protected. She also asked my partner (who is Maori) to leave the store who he is fully vaccinated and also never had any issues when he got his shot previously there at Paraparaumu Life Pharmacy. That was the most horrible experience I've ever felt and had and feel like I'm not at risk because of her racial targeted attitude. It's people like her that make it hard for others in the community who wants to be vaccinated and fully protected to go in a vaccination centre and do it.

There's no point getting your prescription sent because they don't seem to check it ever unless you arrive to collect it and that's when they trot over to get the script and start working on it. That is unless they play the blame game and say your Dr hasn't sent it in the first place. Always get a paper copy from your Dr before venturing in for your hour+ wait

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No problem with the staff. All friendly and helpful. Problem with system for dispensing of medication. I allowed 24 hrs after my Dr had sent my script to this pharmacy only to be told when I went to collect it that they don't start filling the script until you ring and ask them to. Nothing to indicate to me that I should have to do this. I have never experienced this before in any other pharmacy. Was told to come back in an hour, they were busy so on my return the medication was not ready. Further wait. Not long but not good if you are not feeling 100%.
