β β β β β Its good for the not so rich to show their work to the lower class and how it could encourage others to show you don't have to be wealthy to do the same tumeke

β β β β β Such a wonderful little center displaying local community arts and photographic displays. You can really feel a community connection to this place and the local volunteers that take part in it. Truly amazing and inspiring.

β β β β β Awesome experiences I've had everyone I've been in there, seen wonderful art work and the emotion behind each painting or figure that is displayed, absolutely love the calm feel when walking through the gallery and the old feel in the whole building, it's just a sense of peacefulness!!! I recommend everyone going in for a little stroll if you happen to be in the area, owners have awesome stories behind their art work, a definite must see!! ??

β β β β β My first attempt to mount an exhibition - now showing at this gallery -
was scary.
However Dr Liz Boldt, the Community Arts Development Co-ordinator has been so helpful and understanding it's working really well. The Gallery space is superb with lovely light to show off the wide range of art works in AFTERSHOCKS Eastside exhibition.
Japanese folded cranes, folded for the people of Christchurch in March, 2011 look gorgeous and can be taken as a healing act to end our Shaky Decade.
