★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like supervalue however they run out of what little stock they have and it takes them weeks to stock back up for example mother energy kicked apple goes out of stock and takes up to 3 weeks to get back they have over all good prices for a small store but there is a really big problem with homeless people begging for money and watching you leve the store and they will some times get violent if you don't give them money there are any were from 5 to 20 of them and they make you feel bad for not giving them money because you see them on wensday when there benefits come in buying lots of alcohol and geting really drunk out side it's not safe for children or people going to buy something before they close at 9pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware we had an issue with a product that was well off, we wanted to return the item and asked for the manager we were promptly told that they were off site shortly thereafter he came out of his office we don't like to be misled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is great and friendly and have almost everything. It's stuffed and hard to find when you are looking at something. The selection of fruits and vegetables it's not good. You better go to 4 square value over the road for that. It's have slightly cheaper here then 4 square

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very dingy supermarket. The staff are not friendly at all and the prices are stupidly high for a supermarket in such a rundown part of town. Totally unimpressed and there us no selection. Overall a bad experience and I will not be going back, in this life time, if i can help it! I don't like writing bad reviews but this place is the worse. Considering the low wages of the people that live around it (most don't have vehicles and are ptobsky forced to shop there) the prices are excessive and gross. Shame on you Supervalue Stanmore!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If the vegetables and meat selections could match the quality of the alcohol products being sold, I would shop there more often. As for service, the service is below average to average the majority of the time, the staff just stands around. Pricing is too high and there are better deals on selected items at local dairies, with greater discounts being offered at countdown and pak and save which is worth the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are friendly and helpful. In fact they are the best part of the place. Sadly this supermarket regularly runs out of many things and takes a very long time to stock back up. Not a good thing when many of its customers are on foot in this area. Keep control of stock and it would be a great wee supermarket again.
