★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I popped around to have a look at this spot just on a whim really. It's a small-ish place that looks very unassuming -- really just an old place that is someone's rainshelter??? I was pleasantly surprised to find that this establishment had a very friendly and genuinely joyful owner who provided wonderful service. The food was comforting and homely at a great price. Nothing super fancy or flashy, just a cosy space, a friendly face, and a good warm meal. Loved the experience :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely staff, so funny, great little place, good prices for great food, try it out. Seating includes comfy chairs and wooden chairs as well as a small outdoor courtyard. Great decoration to look at also. Definitely family friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just an amazing hidden gem cafe - the owner Djamel has the most bubbly and friendly service! The food is reasonably priced and the hot chocolate is just amazing! Have not been here in years but will definitely come back again ❤️ Thank you Djamel for an amazing cafe experience - best cafe in Auckland!

My favorite Go to Cafe on Karangahape road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Cafe stop in the city. The food is great and the owner is always very warm and friendly. The food is very competitively priced ($13 big breakfast in Auckland?!) but can take a while to come as the owner mostly runs it by himself. The coffee is done well, but can run a little hot if their busy.
Would definitely recommend giving it a visit. Will be stopping in again to try their burgers.
