★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely visit here. Decided to stop at a local bar instead of a Cafe, so glad we did. The Bar Manager was Casey and she was excellent. Try the Bacon and Cheese Wedges - delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rung ahead to ensure we could park our motor homes at Little River Hotel on Saturday night. "Come on over, plenty of room" was the response. Two motor homes later and six adults had dinner at the hotel. Hotel was busy, plenty of atmosphere and food was excellent - would recommend. ( 3.5 stars )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proper NZ country pub with main road vibe! Ate a delicious pub meal with the sounds of cows in the distance, trees and fields to look at. Friendly staff and good sized chips, pizza and burgers-type fair, not flashy, but well prepared and tasty. Nice drinks and good dark beer on tap.
