They do not know the difference between vintage and antique. Lie, muck you around and fail to apologise for mistakes on their part. On the whole very rude.

It's a cafe. If Google is correct. The cafe has vegetarian food and it yum. The book shop is great too.

This is an utterly charming, old worldly, literary secondhand bookshop. There is treasure lurking is every beautifully presented shelf and carefully curated stack ... the stuff of bibliophilistic dreams. And quite possibly my favourite shop in Lyttelton.

Hooray! An old-fashioned 2nd hand bookshop-the type of bookshop the earthquake eradicated from Christchurch. I could spend many hours here. Excellent.

Deborah and Andrew run the most delightful bookshop, with a diverse quality stock ranging from modern literary fiction to vintage Kiwiana, interspersed with the odd antique treasure. Prices are reasonable and the owners are helpful, knowledgeable, and have esoteric tastes, so great for recommendations. One of the best bookshops in Christchurch.

I heard about your shop on stuff and I was excited to come for a look and a search for some valuable and hard to find Stephen King Books & if you had them I would or been prepared to pay the large amount of money they are worth. Sadly the shops 2 staff didn't even bother to say hello, or offer to help me. I asked if you stocked Stephen King & was shown the 2 books your had. Both of the staff were cold unwelcoming and once again didn't even bother to say goodbye when I left. I have worked in retail for many years and currently work in a 2nd hand bookshop. Your store was interesting and quirky. But due to the unwelcoming cold staff I won't be returning. How hard is it to say hello, offer to help or say goodbye to a customer who has spoken to you. a disappointing visit.

A great selection of books - and oh! the ambiance!!! Interior design meets bookworm. Great backdrop too.
