★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really love visiting (and purchasing) at Loopine Wool Co. Alanna and the team are always so friendly and helpful, but never pushy. Their selection is superb and the way the yarn is displayed and organised makes it easy to navigate. Can't wait until the next time. The latest completed garment lot was purchased there - Cascade Yarns, Eco and Hemp (sport weight). Made a Maiden (Libby Jonson) with it and love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous wee gem! I was taken to the store when visiting Auckland last year and was completely taken with the variety of yarn, the knick-knacks and notions and best of all the assistance I received while dithering about what to buy and then what I was going to knit with it.
I signed up for the emails and they are chatty, informative and friendly, I look forward to reading the wee articles that they add.
Shopping online has proven to be hassle free and I will continue to keep supporting this wee business at the top of the North Island from my home in the middle of the South Island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Allanah and her team offer the kindest service to crafters of all abilities. She has a great range of yarn and accessories, and offers classes and support. Her online shop is fabulous if you can't get into town, and delivery is quick. Time in her shop seems to slow down, you can spend many happy hours there.

Great mix of yarns with many excellent NZ yarns featured.
There are many classics including Rowan, Cascade, Zauberballs but for me I am in love with the awesome local options.
Beautiful possum yarns were on my list today!
Great selection of needles (Chiaogoo, Hiya Hiya, Addi) notions as well as some lovely stash bags.
Highly recommend this store if you are hunting for great yarns.
Service was super friendly, welcoming as well as very knowledgeable.
