★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered some timber to replcae our deck and dealt with Dan. I made it very clear that the timber was not going to be used for at least a month and would be stored outside so it was imperative to have it packed and tied down tight to avoid warpoing. When the crane lifted the packet the timber all moved and became loose. The drive said a partial packet should have 'fillets' inserted inbetween to avoid that. When I spoke to Dan all he said was oh well bring it back for a credit then. He also said that he spoke to the driver and that this is how they usually pack the timber and nothing was wrong. I said I din't want to get into a he said she said disagreement and the fact was he assured me it would be tight. He said he would come back to me and see what he could do. I never did get that call so I unpacked iot all myself, bought some strops and repacked it in my shed. Dan did not really seem to know how the packets should be packed at all. I have been a loyal customer but I won't be back. In business Dan you need to own your mistakes or you shouldn't be there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed. We purchased a kitset through post rail fence which cost us $10,000.00 in materials alone (then nearly $5k to have it installed. Lumberland provided posts at a custom height of 1500. Simon (the owner) provided unseasoned timber for these posts. Look at the photos and decide for yourself if you'd want a fence like we got!! I don't think so!! Our posts have split, bent and warped and on top of this the mortising (holes made in the posts) were just awful. We had rails split because the posts bent so much. Unbelievable! We'll let you decide for yourself from the photos. The fencer wasn't much better and packed all the gaps with these bits of rubbish wood. Very disappointing. Lumberland were very unhelpful and unwilling to address the issues at all until we lodged a complaint in the disputes tribunal. Beware of this place unless you want a fence like ours!! Be VERY careful!
