A woman just pushed in and took a window dining table, that was reserved for someone else - and then had friends join her, without much pushback from the staff (seriously understaffed) they were loud and boorish did not order dinner, crowding the space and making the evening way less enjoyable for the other diners. This annoyed me because we had travelled a long way to enjoy our booking and could not see the view from our middle table. If that table was an option of first in first served, why was it not offered to us? Upstairs was booked for a private function so no chance to see that either. Considering the slow service and this awful breach in hospitality I think 3 stars for the good food is generous. I left with no intention of ever returning.

We had 4 different dishes and all of them were yummy, this place definitely deserves a 5 star rating, parking is a little bit complicated but nothing that you can’t sort out..

Food was delicious, the best dairy free risotto I have ever had.....ever. this place definitely deserves a 5 star rating ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely location and great view of Dunedin though parking is a bit of a pain.
We ordered three mains and three desserts. While every dish was well portioned and flavoured I didn't think it was anything spectacular. The food was solid and safe.
A good place for a family meal or a date over looking Dunedin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unpleasant experience brunch in this restaurant. The food was under our expectations. The smoked salmon looks not fresh and messy presentation, also the Big Breakfast, as you can see on my picture, the tomato and mushroom looks mushy, salty sausage, and again very bad presentation. They forgot to put the hasbrown onto the plate and they gave us separately. The portion of Big Breakfast wasn't present as Big Breakfast should be. The bread taste not toasted. When we paid, the staff asked us how was the food, and we said we were disappointed and she has no response of it. Well, they really should more sensitive with customers and care about the services. Not only selling the view. I wouldn't go back there anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view, good service but disappointing food. I ordered big breakfast and it was not big comparedto other restaurants and not presentable. The taste were standard and the bacon was too salty. I also ordered smoked salmon and you can see in my picture how it looks. The management are welcome to improve and I can change my review if improved.
