Lux Organics is a small family farm in Ngongotaha providing fresh, certified organic vegetables, microgreens and herbs to the local market. Please note, you can only visit the farm by appointment, and we do not have a shop on site.

“Organic” means crops are grown without artificial fertilisers and chemicals, and all inputs are uncontaminated and completely free of genetic modification. Successful organic gardens rely on working with nature, adapting natural processes and patterns (such as crop rotation and companion planting), using natural inputs (such as compost, seaweed and slow-release minerals) and making use of biological controls when necessary (for example predatory wasps to eat aphids).
As a member of OrganicFarmNZ since July 2016 we have been adhering to the Biogro Organic Standards and we are now fully certified organic.
