Over 40years of operation has seen Lynn Electrical Company Limited become New Zealand's leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial & commercial switchgear and control panels to the electrical industry.

Lynn Electrical was formed in 1973 by Les Shrubb and from its early days, has made quality and service the basis on which to form a growing and lasting relationship with customers.  Today Lynn Electrical is managed by Les' son Steven Shrubb, who heads a team of 41 staff.

This Auckland based company has undertaken many major contracts in recent years, including providing switchboards to the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant, Waterview Tunnel, Sylvia Park Office, Britomart Transport Centre, Auckland International Airport, Air New Zealand Engineering, Auckland City Hospital and Sky City Hotel, Casino, Conference Centre & Sky Tower.

Lynn Electrical's services involve offering a complete switchboard solution, including design and engineering, an inspection service and maintenance services contracts.  The company can provide main switchboards, distribution boards, motor control centres, generator switchboards, mechanical services switchboards, power factor correction units, PLC panels, control panels, outdoor pump stations and stainless steel cabinets.  Offering schedule preventive maintenance program is another service by Lynn Electrical.

The company supplied the electrical switchboards to Britomart Transport Centre and had provided preventive maintenance contract and switchboard inspection to the centre including 7 satellite railway stations.  The Waterview Tunnel took slightly more than 2 years from design to finished switchboards.

Lynn Electrical manufactured The Watercare Services Outdoor Wastewater Pump Station control cabinets for Franklin District, Manukau District, Auckland District and Rodney District.  As well as main switchboard, motor control centre, PLC cabinet for The Watercare Wastewater Treatment Plant.

In 2010, Lynn Electrical established a branch in Christchurch.  It's former ownership, Powercentre Distribution and Control had been in switchboard business for over 60 years.  It's now trading as Lynn Electrical Christchurch.
