★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent place for lunch! I had a yummy pasta on a lovely veranda with beautiful view on a lake. After lunch I went around the lake and the adjacent lily pond. It was one of the most beautiful short walks in New Zealand... And I have done so many!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to try the cafe for the first time and it was not a great experience. We're told that the wait was going to be 20mins, but our food took 50 minutes to arrive which was quite a wait especially seeing a table served before us even if they ordered after us.
My husband ordered a med-rare steak but came out overcooked and dry while I ordered the chicken and bacon creamy pasta that was extremely salty!!! I do have a very high tolerance to saltiness, but that was way toooo salty! The brownie was a bit dry as well and with little macadamia in it. I was expecting more of the macadamia in it as it should be the highlight of it, but nah.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in while out for a random drive to check out Southhead , Very friendly staff , Great Giant coffee (What I'd call a proper large!) An amazing Big breakfast and a super friendly Old cat ?, All round awesome place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a lovely location in South head. Just of the main road. It was very quiet when we are lunch , just us and another couple. The food came out swiftly and was delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the toast was just right. Very friendly cafe Cat say with us too make sure our lunch went down smoothly and without issue .
