β β β β β Took my car in for a general service (oil change) and asked them to check the spark plugs as the car was not running perfectly.
They checked the spark plugs and made minor adjustments this seemed to fixed the problem.
They also did the oil change however the next day the the oil light came on, and when it was checked the incorrect amount of oil had been put in (the dip stick reading was extremly low). We had to buy oil from a garage (which Main Street Automotive refunded). I had to take the car back to them to for them to check out. Furthermore they could not turn off the "change oil light" on the dash, so I had to take it to another company to turned it off. The amount of time and distruption to my day was unacceptable.
Additionally since the service the boot does not open. It is hard to say if they were the cause or not however it was working before and now it is not working.

Took the wagon in for a warrant and the customer service and care was a 20/10!
In this day and age it's hard to find people who genuinely care, and your Definitely one of them. Thank you for looking after the cars of Palmerston North, your workshop needs an award.

β β β β β Very nice customer service and trust worthy mechanic.
My BMW got mechanical breakdown they could of charge me hundreds for the diagnostic but they didn't charge any money and also gave me a reference for the right mechanic to go with.
I highly recommend this place if you actually love your car and pocket.

β β β β β BAD EXPERIENCE and NEVER COME BACK. I booked an engine oil replacement for my car, after finishing, I found that there are several drops of engine oil stains on the elbow restοΌAnd these marks are NOT REMOVE-ABLE! Also, when I picked up my car, the foot brake was not ON (they just parked without foot brake), so I very much doubt their professionalism. It makes me think that do they really know how to service my car??
The reception lady was friendly and helpful.
